The California internet tax was re-introduce recently. We all thought we were safe from taxes on Internet downloads of music, cell phone ring tones, software and movies, the controversial proposal has been reintroduced in the California legislature.
“Taxation will artifically increase costs, increase the burden on companies to comply with the taxation procedures, make California even less competitive and may force companies to move their operations offshore, causing futher job losses,” said Jack Bicer, CEO of Septium Corp., an Irvine custome Web software developer and president of TechBiz Connection, one of the largest technology organizations in Southern California.
